USED MYRON L DS METER MODEL EP 0.1-1000 OHM SAMPLE TESTING CONDUCTIVITY This is a used Myron L Company DS Meter, Model EP 5-range for sample conductivity testing of solutions. Battery is included. The unit is serial number 0331092, powered by batteries that are not included. The unit has on the front a range selector switch for the readout divisions, and a pushbutton for readout on a sample. Below the face of the meter pointer is a zero adjust for the meter. You are responsible for calibration. The calibration setting for a standard sample of your own is under the red cap on the bottom of the unit (see in picture). This Model EP is temperature compensated 32 degrees Fahrenheit to 120 degrees Fahrenheit (0 to 49 degrees Celsius). The meter readings are in megoohms/resistivity for testing ultrapure water, and for conductivity of solutions the readout is in micromhos equivalent to metric microsiemens. With the range selector switch you get readouts of 0 to 0.5, 0 to 5, 0 to 50, 0 to 500, and 0 to 5000 micromhos, and 2 to 30 megaohms. Accuracy is plus/minus 2 percent full scale; and repeatability plus/minus 1 percent. The envelope of the unit is 3-1/8 inches wide by 5-1/4 inches deep by 6-1/2 inches tall with the carrying strap fully vertical. A portion of the plastic cell cup on top for the sample is broken off, see in pictures; unit checks out fine in readout in the lab. The upper electrode which is lower in the cup is okay. There is no original shipping box nor manual/instructions for the item. There is no carrying case. Shipping weight is 2 pounds. What you see is what you get. Sold "as is".
