Used once for a partial day in the garage size 9 Dickie Prowlers, black leather upper steel toed lace up work book made in China. I am not a shoe seller, nor a stylish kind of man, nor all that interested in items that don't fit over my big feet, besides these are a pair of my neighbor's shoes. They were too clunky for him which was a disappointment for her. Where was I? Oh, ... I'm not a shoe seller, I don't think I am all that bright either. In fact recently, my mother told me when I was born in 1960 while the doctor held me upside down by my heels in preparation for spanking me, he suddenly turned to the nurse and said loudly in a crabby voice, "Nurse, why is it so DIM in here???!!!!?" I am an old auctioneer who likes to sell things to people who need things. This item is in Very fine* one-owner, one-day used condition depending on how you feel about the following: The item has negatives: - used for a partial day in the home garage of my neighbor until disappointment set in; they just didn't fit him comfortably. - five toe are scuffs -- I could have easily covered them with some shoe polish, they're not that big of a deal. The steel toe boots have positives: - clean, no odors other than leather smell. - indoor, one use. - this color goes nicely with your eyes. You will look even MORE handsome. - good enough for who it's for. (Did I say 'for'? I meant 'from'...FROM!) - the pair of boots weighs 4 pounds, 3 ounces. Measurements: - tip of the toe to the heel is 10 1/2" . - width of the insole at the widest is 4". - width at the narrowest part of the instep on the cushioned part is 2 5/8" with a tiny bit of room up the sidewalls like some shoes have; these sidewalls are nearly perpendicular... although leather is somewhat forgiving. - width at the heel is 2 1/2". - heel height from the floor to the back of the shoe is 1". - the outside length of the entire shoe is 12 1/4". - height from the back of the boot at the floor up to the top of the back of the boot is 6 1/2". All measurements done to the best of my ability. Remember, I am a man. There is a small percentage of flex to the measurements, especially to the inside sidewalls of the inside of the shoe where my old, fat, and shaky fingers fear to go. I am not talented enough to get an exact measurement in this instance. I am a man, you know. If you need a re-measure of some part or the other I can do that for you; I'll get my wife to help.
