Ampoules are fed from side bowl or carton into feed chute. Ampoules are conducted through channels to the feeding station from each channel. (1) Ampoule is pushed out and taken by a suction comb. Ampoules are then taken via conveyor beam to the inspection station. At inspection station, ampoules stand free, held at bottom by vacuum brief rapid spin of the ampoules. Possible product in tip sucked back by sudden stoppage of the rapid spin, particulate matter in the product is set into rotation. Two fold magnification against dark background or polarized light particulate matter become visible. Pressing the rejective button, rejected ampoules are blown away by air. (4) Different programs can be provided at inspection station. Checked ampoules are transported from the inspection station to collecting chute.
