Photos are of the item you will receive, unless stated otherwise. Cosmetic Condition The laminator is in fairly good cosmetic condition. It has scuff marks, scratches, and general wear from use. There is some bends and dents in the rear sheet metal enclosure panel, but this does not affect function. One of the rear exit rollers has a small cut in the rubber, but during testing this did not appear to affect anything. Please see the photos for more detail. The machine appears to be missing a "waste rewind" mandrel, which it needs for rolling waste film onto an empty core. No other parts or accessories are included. Only that which is shown in the photos will ship. Specifications - 220VAC @ 60Hz , Single-Phase - 5300W - 42" Lamination Width Testing We tested the laminator by connecting it to a 220V line and powering it on. Initially, it had both rolls of lamination material spooled into the heat shoes and rollers/mandrels. We allowed it to warm up to around 260-280 degrees and enabled the motor forward toggle. Plastic fed through the machine, fusing together and exiting the rear rollers. It did appear to laminate properly, though perhaps could use some testing to find the optimal temperature. Changing the forward toggle to reverse would reverse the motor direction, pulling the lamination backwards through the machine. The thermostats appear to work properly, and the ready indicators would turn green after allowing the heat shoes to reach set temperature. The left-side levers, when turned, would open and close rollers properly. We assume this is to either initially feed material or adjust for material diameter. This is the full extent of the testing performed. We believe the laminator is in working condition, though could use some testing to find optimal temperatures for the lamination material used. It also needs a waste rewind mandrel for collecting waste film onto an empty core. We are not certain which type currently remains on the spools.
