Makes an excellent surface finish on steel and metal alloys and aluminum. For facing , fly cutting and high speed CNC operations up to .118" (3mm) deep per pass and with increased speeds and feeds from 800 to 5800 rpm and feed rates of 5.9" to 55"and more per minute! Metal Masters design incorporates a six point insert seat and a two sided frustum 24 point insert that allows the maximum amount of indexing of 12 per side. Indexing is fast and simple without having to remove the clamp screw! (1)Loosen screw (2)Turn insert one point. (3)Tighten insert.
