Variable speed drive w/brake, 3 hp 208/416V 3ph 600-1800 rpm US Motors Varidrive This is a used variable speed vari-drive made by US Motors with a brake made by Cutler Hammer. This features a 3 horsepower motor coupled to the variable speed case. Speed is adjusted using the handwheel on the side. This is an older unit that was cleaned up, tested and painted and it works well. The motor wires were starting to get brittle so all of them were sleeved with shrink tubing as far back into the motor as was possible.
