In High Frequency Welding of tube and pipe, the vee angle affects the weld quality very much. However, people have not had a professional instrument to measure it. So, I have developed a Vee Gauge, as shown in the attached photo. It shows the Vee Gauge measuring a tube of (3) degrees of vee angle. You slide the Vee Gauge into the vee until the pin touches both edges of the strip, and then read at the apex. The Vee Gauge will tell you the angle in degree directly. It's just that simple! The Vee Gauge has the following features: (1) It tells you the vee angle in degree directly and right away. So, you need not bother to find a pin, a tape measure and a calculator to do the trigonometry calculation. (2) It is accurate to 0.1 degree.
