You are bidding on a USED condition Vertex Standard Mobile transceiver Model # "VX-4204-0-50"; serial # 5N450644. This is VHF which is (134-174 MHz) only, 512-channels and 50-watts output power. Radio is in Very Good condition. It was installed in one of our administrative motor vehicles and was pulled from service working (receives & transmits). We upgraded our fleet radios to VHF DMR/TRBO digital models, so we no longer need this radio. All buttons including the programmable function (PF) buttons work, power button, and as well as the volume knob & channel selector. The LED lights for transmit & receive work, as well as the backlight. FEATURES: Software Programmable via CE-59 software, including PL & DPL tones. We have confirmed that radio takes & accepts RSS programming as it has been re-programmed to default frequencies. VHF (134-174 MHz) only. 50-watts output power. 512-channel capacity, managed in up to 32 groups. Priority and/or Non-Priority Scan capable (can scan whatever you tell it). Other brand mobiles can only scan 16-channels, this one can scan a lot or hundreds, making it more "user friendly" than other brands. Also goes "Group Scan". PL and DPL tone capable. Meets MIL-STD (military standard) 810 C/D/E specifications. 12 Character Alphanumeric LCD Display. Emergency Programmable button feature. Seven (7) backlit programmable function (PF) keys. 12.5/20/25 KHz Emissions capable. This is a new technology radio; meaning it does wideband as well as narrowband. It already complys with the FCC mandated 1/01/2013 narrowbanding deadline. Radio has UHF female for antenna port. 15-pin accessory jack (in back of radio).
