Here is a USED Vertex Standard VX-6000V Radio. I really don't know much about this radio; it was mounted in a '03 Dakota I bought at a county auction recently. I asked around about it & had a friend tell me it is VHF & is 100 watts. This is just the information I was given & am passing it along... The radio does work, it does a self test & has 3 different settings..."Weather", "Traffic" & "Maintenance". I had the weather channel on just before removing the radio from the truck. I couldn't get anything from the other 2 settings...I'm assuming my county doesn't use the same band/channel, whatever. Everything was unplugged when removed; I didn't cut anything. Also comes with an antenna a little over 18" tall (along with coax), all the mounting brackets, mic holder, misc. screws I removed to take it out, etc. I think everything is ready to be re-used...the only thing I might replace would be the rubber antenna gasket. I have no use for the radio, so...here it is! If you have any questions, please ask before bidding. Please keep in mind this is a USED item. It WILL have signs of wear & tear throughout.
