The mixer was professionally serviced once received. This includes changing the oil and gears checked/cleaned. In addition it was professionally cleaned with ridding of any grease/food buildup or significant dirt. The mixer was tested and works well as it should. There is not much for you to do once obtaining this mixer-just plug it in and start working. The most cleaning you would have to to use it is to wipe the bowl with a napkin.
