The Vetter Belt is designed to assist Fire, EMS, and other healthcare professionals tasked with lifting patients of extraordinary size (or any size, for that matter). It allows multiple rescuers to use proper body mechanics while lifting the uninjured patient to his/her feet or onto a stretcher or chair. Back injuries account for a large number of lost time OTJ claims and career-ending events in the pre-hospital environment. The Vetter Belt can be a valuable tool in reducing these incidents. It's now-patented design was originally created and field tested by a firefighter out of necessity and is currently in use at Fire Departments, EMS agencies, and adult health care facilities all over the U.S. One size fits waists up to 72";  Independently lab tested to over 5000# (22.7Kn) ;  Manufactured with pride in Tucson, Arizona USA. Simple design without fiddly buckles or D-rings. Leg strap connections are made away from patient's groin. Easy release in seconds. Inexpensive shoulder-length veterinary gloves (sample included) can be used over leg straps to provide greater hygiene/BSI.  Kit includes waist belt, leg straps, attachment carabiners: (4), and black/yellow draw cord storage sack (not pictured).
