Vibratory Feeder Bowl Coil/Electromagnet for HEIC Hendricks Engineering (NEW) Compatible with - Piercy Machine V101 This is new and has never been used. It has been tested and is fully functional and is guaranteed. We are the original manufacturer of these coils for several feeder companies and now that Hendricks Engineering seems to be gone, we are selling their magnets direct. This magnet was manufactured by Coil Technologies Inc., which is a division of Controlled Automation Inc. It could also be used as a pickup for a robot or would be great for the hobbyist just to experiment with. We have several people buying these for their kid’s science projects. There has also been several people buy these magnets to find metal objects in the ocean and lakes (see additional information for details). This coil is rated for intermittent use and the applied voltage will determine the duty cycle. It can operate efficiently at 200 degrees F or less. This will also fit a Superior Automation, and Carter Enterprises drive units, (we are the original manufacturer of the coils for these units) Safety Warning The holding strength listed on our magnets is the actual breakaway reading on a 2” thick mild steel plate with no air gap. The listed strength should be de-rated to 50% for holding applications and 25% for lifting applications. As with anything common sense should be used in your application. Do not use electromagnets to lift heavy objects over people. Please use caution if you purchase this for your kids, a magnet that is this strong could really cause a nasty pinch when energized.
