For sale is an expensive looking 28lb vickers directional control valve.  It is marked max pressure 5000pssNow for the problem.  Whoever owned this valve painted the inventory control number over the id plate. I tried to read the numbers underneath but failed.  Then I tried goof off with no success.  Finally i tried sandpaper which worked well in some parts but too well in others.  As you can see I managed to sand the id info off of some of the plate.  I will tell you what i know and hopefully you can fill in the rest.  That is why I am listing this at auction starting at .99.  I think it is worth more and hopefully someone who knows will buy it. Model# DG5v-8????????? pilot valve# DG4V-3S-6C-M-FPA5WL-B5-60 eaton hydraulics assy# 02-329164 measures roughly 10 x 4.5 x 5 and weighs 28lbs thanks for looking.  Next time I will skip the sandpaper
