Best value on the market! This model of the CP-12 press is fully vapor tight. It has Two 8 3/8” Pyrex inspection windows with cleaning wipers. A companion flange for the inlet hopper and discharge will be provided (Can be designed as per your specifications).There is provision for inert gas injection, with venting through the top covers. All liquid contact parts made of T-304 stainless steel. Compression Screw: The press uses a standard 12" diameter screw with Colmonoy hardsurfacing applied to the high wear areas. The flights are made of stainless alloy. The screw is of the interrupted flight, reducing pitch, design, with five stages of compression. Drive: The main drive is a Nord hollow shaft reducer which rotates the screw at approximately 19 rpm. The motor will be a premium efficiency NEMA 20 horsepower, explosion Proof, dual voltage motor. Vincent includes a VFD. Screen: The stainless steel screens are made of profile bar with slots that are 300 microns wide. The screens are reversible for double life. For easy removal from the sides, the screens are split lengthwise in the vertical plane (12:00 and 6:00). The screens are hinged to facilitate inspection and CIP.
