This particular version of this title is a bit different than the ICSA collector web site –The title and number that appears on the ICSA site is 271 Building Contracts.  My book is 271B  Contracts for Building Operations. I am listing several wonderful vintage books from the International Textbook Company of Scranton, PA.  All of these are in exceptional condition – Rather beautiful.  All have gorgeous marbled end pages of blue and green and white.  They also all have fancy blue dyed top, bottom, and fore edges. Some are bluer than others, though. From the ICSA collector web site devoted to these books, I believe that all of my offerings are what would be termed BB issues - International Correspondence School Blue Books:  (they were either blue or black – mine are black) 271 B  Contracts for Building Operations  By John Vredenburgh Van Pelt, A.D.G., F.A.I.A., Former Dean of the College of Architecture, Cornell University Copyright 1939 by I.T. C., Copyright in Great Britain / Printed in U.S.A. Serial Number 5298, Edition 1 Beautiful black faux leatherette covers with embossed titling on the front and gold gilt titling on the spine.  Gorgeous marbled end pages – colors are blue green and white Size:  approx 7 5/8ths by 5 inches – 116 pages Contains numerous types of Contracts and Forms.  I have tried to show you a few.  Many  of the Forms are from the A.I.A.  American Institute of Architects from that time period. Condition:  a really lovely vintage book – no markings, very clean, cover still a deep black with possibly some light shelf wear and slightly bumped corners– lovely marbled interior end pages – many examples of contracts, forms, agreements, specifications, etc., many from the A.I.A. of circa 1930  – fancy dyed top, bottom, and fore edges are a lovely blue I have researched via the web and relied on several web sites; most notably sites prepared by the International Correspondence School Association, the University of Scranton special library collections and Wikipedia.  I have tried to follow the instructions from the ICS web site about the important facts to list on each book, and I believe I have identified each correctly.  However, from the information presented, there are evidently many various types of books from this company, so I hope I have identified correctly.  If collectors have any additional information, please do email.   Can send Media mail or Priority. Please note, media mail may be much slower than ebay estimates Check out my other items!     ____________________________ All of my items are antique or vintage.
