You are bidding on a Gossen Tippa portable typewriter made in Germany, with an unusual leather  briefcase made especially for it. It also has the metal top so it can be transported without the briefcase. I don't know much about typewriters, but I did type a little on it and it seems to work, although reluctantly. It obviously needs to be cleaned and tuned up to work properly. It has a very small profile and is super cool. It measures just 11 1/2" deep, 12" wide and 2 1/2" high in the metal carry case. The briefcase measures 13 3/4" wide, 12" high and 2 1/2" wide and is in ok condition for it's age. This is small item, but weighs in at 13 lbs without the briefcase. There is a tiny 15 page booklet included with basic instructions and diagrams of features. There is a slight odor inside the case, but probably just needs to be aired out. I don't know the history of this item as I bought it at an estate auction. Please check the pictures carefully for damages, wear, etc. I will send additional pictures upon request.
