Hello! This is SUCH a gorgeous typewriter, I'm sad to sell it but well we just don't have the room honestly. This is a gorgeous typewriter from Brother Industries known as their "Bradford" model which was built from 1961-1964 by Brother Industries. Based on the serial numbers on the back, this one was made in October 1963. What makes this in part so special is the gorgeous blue color and it's still in tact carrying case. The carrying case definitely shows it's age superficially, but is still sturdy, and latches securely making it possible to really carry this typewriter. It is so sleek that you can easily carry it around town, or easily store it in your home. In the case it's measurements are: 12.5" wide, 12"deep, 4" tall I am NOT a typewriter servicer, but from my own inspection of it, it works really well. I have typed up with it, moved everything around, and am able to get paper actually through it. It's in great working condition. The previous owner I believe had it in a garage for a long time. I was able to clean it up pretty well and added a fresh new ribbon in it with both red and black. This typewriter will let you use a three color ribbon, and has little notches on the right side to dictate which color to use (which works great!), but I just put a two color ribbon in there. The keys take more effort than a modern keyboard on a computer to press down, but that is not a fault of the typewriter but just the nature of typewriters in general!
