This vintage 1963 J.R. BAUMAN Normal Model dress form has it's original tag - hard to find them still attached.  Most forms have sizes, and this one is marked Normal with a number reading 18 B. This model form was used by designers and in factories. Great old form, with original cage and iron stand.  The wheels are pretty worn and in rough shape; she still stands sturdy.  (You can move around, but I would not use the wheels to move). Many stamped areas showing year, model etc.  (see pictures).  The shoulder end pieces are some type of metal or brass as is the top finale This model form was made in N.Y and used in a city rich in manufacturing from one of the busiest cities known for textile manufacturing "Fall River, MA".  There were many mills, mainly textile mills and clothes manufacturers in this city. Located along the eastern shore of Mount Hope Bay at the mouth of the Taunton River, the city became famous during the 19th century as the leading textile manufacturing center in the United States Thank You!
