Estate find - Vintage Alnor PYROMETER? (or) Some type of Illinois Testing Laboratories Inc. Meter - Chicago Ill, U.S.A. Type: 4100 and 19577E   is on the actual bakelite Meter.   No. 4090 on the long chrome wand.  The smaller pieces have 4090 and 4060 on them.   0 to 1200 degrees fahrenheit Has not been Tested, but the exterior condition is good.  The meter does not seem to have any visible cracks, the glass is good, clear, with no cracks.  The wand and all other chrome attachments are in good shape, clean with no rust. Dates 1948 and 1957 are on the unit, as well as the tag on the case Comes with the case, which has a lot of wear and is weathered (mildew odor), metal is rusted on the latches. since it was found in the basement.  I have no knowledge of this apparatus, I am only guessing at what type of Meter it is, if you have more specific knowledge on it, I would be grateful for your input so I can revise the listing to be more correct.  If you are interested in a Buy it now price, just let me know, as long as there are no bids.
