While there are some small dents on the top of the helmet, the liner is in great condition. In the accompanying photos, it can be seen how the liner securely attaches to the inside of the helmet using metal attachments. To add extra durability to the metal, three creases run along the helmet's top. This vintage American-made Bullard Hard Boiled aluminum safety helmet, also known as a "hard hat", features its original liner. Despite the lack of a paper tag inside, the only marking present is the name "Steve" written in black pen, which can easily be removed using a degreaser or Goof Off. This particular version of the Bullard Hard Hat boasts six rivets that hold the inner liner in place, along with three slightly larger rivets that are likely meant to secure a miner's light.
