This listing is for a vintage 'Resusci Anne' anatomical CPR mannequin/manikan torso doll in the original case (with wood bumpers). The doll was made c.1970 by Laerdal of Norway. This is a professional CPR mannequin made of heady plastics, ribber and life-like hair. She is mounted to a backboard but can easily be removed and measures about 26 x 15 x 9 on the backboard. She has no missing or broken parts as best I can determine. Her head can be moved from side to side and head bent back and jaw opens (exposing less-than perfect, life-like teeth) to for a more naturalistic CPR operation. The case exterior measures 28" x 20" x 11". One wood bumper has lost a rivet but is held in place by several others; a fair amount of wear to the case, especially edges, but hinges and locks work.  I have not cleaned her up in detail but she's not very soiled as is. She is 'certifiably' creepy-cool, especially for those into medical/anatomical collectibles, and a 'ready-made' sculpture for the right sensibility. Anatomical ready-made sculpture with serious steampunk potential--what more could an eclectic collector want? ;) The new versions of this same doll run $1500 and do not have the same life-like appearance (including life-like hair or 'broken' teeth as does this one!) or quality of build. She will be shipped in the original case, duct-taped or strapped for the journey.
