MADE FOR KEUFEL & ESSER IN WEST GERMANY (COLD WAR ERA) BY THE FAMOUS ASKANIA COMPANY. THE OPTICS ARE VERY WELL PRESERVED WITH CLEAR VIEW AND A STILL CRISP RETICLE. WE ATTEMPTED TO PHOTOGRAPH THE VIEW THRU THE TELESCOPE (SEE PHOTOS) BUT THE PHOTO DOES NOT DO JUSTICE TO THE ACTUAL VIEW. THIS TYPE OF BUILDER'S THEODOLITE READS IN ASIMUTH ONLY.
