Item recovered locally, power on tested only and selling AS IS. This auction is for a Vintage B&K Dynascan 1250 NTSC Generator, Powers Up. Could work fine, Untested. This came in with a few other older items, and looked to be in pretty decent shape cosmetically, besides being a little dusty. When I picked it up, I heard something rolling around inside, so before I turned it on, I took the top cover off (pic 11). Picture 12 shows a loose nut and screw that was inside, and will include it with the item so you can figure out where it goes. I had to peel off the label on the back to do this, but just stuck it back on. Once the nut/screw was taken out, I put the lid back on and plugged it in. Turned the power toggle switch to ON and the red power lit up just fine (pic 8). When I turned it over to take a picture of the bottom, there was an envelope on the bottom with some paperwork inside. A couple pieces were from a repair facility. The actual repair form was dated DATE IN: 09-01-00 with DATE DUE: 09-11-00. Looks like the main item was a PWR CORD, and the WORK DESCRIPTION was " Repair color bar circuit, install feet on bottom, clean and cal. ". The only charge I see on the invoice was $1.60 for IC74HC10 (maybe an IC chip?). Anyway, looks like they didn't even charge for the rubber feet they installed. So this was repaired with minor repairs back in 2000. They might have added a new power cord too, who knows. Anyway, this looks like it might work just fine, but since I can't test it, will be selling AS IS as a parts/repair unit. Thanks for your time.
