Item: This auction is for a vintage Fyrite CO2 Tester, Case, and Fire Efficiency Finder, made by Bacharach Industrial Equipment Company in Pittsburgh. There are also a couple other unidentified parts with it.  The Fire Efficiency Finder is a cardboard calculator where you slide the internal piece to point at the net stack temperature, then slide another piece to point at the percentage of CO2 gas in the flue as measured with the Fyrite tester, and then it gives the percent combustion efficiency. Condition:  This is as-found and nothing has been cleaned up. It is generally in dirty used condition. The case has rust on the bare metal parts and one lid hinge is broken. The leather handle and two hasps are in good condition.  The Fyrite unit doesn't have any fluid in it and has a green deposit of something on one end. The rubber pieces look unusable. The cardboard Fire Efficiency Finder is in well used condition but is still fully intact and usable. This is an item I am unfamiliar with and I can't guarantee that any of it is in operating condition. Measurements:  The case measures about 9 x 7 x 4 inches. Good luck bidding!
