Vintage Burton "Add- A- Shaker" 1408  Pipette Shaker Bakelite  w/ 4 Heads (M-9-B) Here we have for your consideration is the Burton 1408 Pipette Shaker. This unit features 4 heads and can hold 8 pipettes. Unit has toggle power on/off switches. The unit powers on in very good working condition. All controls respond to adjustment. This would be a nice vintage piece to add to a collection. The Burton 1408 Pipette Shaker is designed to be used in molecular biology, analytical chemistry, and medical testing wherein it is necessary to transport a measured volume of liquid. Known as the "Add-a-Shaker" model, the Burton 1408 scientifically rotates and vibrates pipettes for uniform blood counts quickly without clumping. Takes any size pipette with individual vibration control. Smooth, easy to clean Bakelite with no clamps. A quiet, lightweight model for every doctor, laboratory, hospital, or clinic. Save time, assure homogenous mixture and accurate, uniform blood counts always with the Burton 1408! Please be sure to check out the photos for specific item. You will receive everything shown in the photos. Specifications: 115 Volts 50/60 CPS 28 Watt Unit is missing one rubber foot and one foot is chipped.
