This classic, refurbished piece of confectionary factory equipment has a small footprint, but a larger production capability than its 30 gallon volume might suggest. ------ Please see photos, including the reference photo of the unit in a candy factory, before its refurbishment. Its powerful motor, gearbox and strongly constructed mixing assembly can easily handle the addition of large amounts of new cold and unmelted solids, and the heavy mass of thick steel construction (1,500 lbs empty) of this unit provides a large stored heat reserve, giving it the ability to rebound quickly from such additions. This provides production capabilities substantially greater than the typical warmer mixer that uses thin wall stainless steel water jacket construction and a light duty mixing mechanism. ------------------------------------------------------------ Please ask, if you would like to see a video clip of this unit running. ------------------------------------------------------------ This chocolate/confectionary warmer/mixer has been fully disassembled, sandblasted, re-assembled with new seals and repainted. The original, gate style dump valve (please see reference photo) has been replaced with a custom fitted, industry standard stainless steel sanitary tri-clamp fitting. The electric drive for the mixing has been upgraded with a Dayton 2 hp, 3 phase, high efficiency continuous duty electric motor, and a new AC drive has been added, allowing the user to easily set any mixing speed required. The AC drive is installed with a separate large stop button. This warmer-mixer was originally equipped to maintain a preset water jacket temperature, using three electric 'stick' type heaters and a analog type thermostat, (all included, but used, and as is) but a modern setup would likely utilize an electronic temperature control and solid state relays to regulate the (new, not included at this time) stick heaters. ------------------------------------------------------------ The stainless steel top cover shown in the reference photo, was lost, and a cover is not included at this time. ------------------------------------------------------------ NOTE: This unit may get more finishing work, such a a new top cover, side panels, sight glass/water fill, relocated controls, or a new heating system, and these improvements can be to a buyers specification, but the price of this unit will be adjusted accordingly. ------------------------------------------------------------ Contact me, prior to purchase, to inform me of your shipping and handling requirements.
