Item recovered locally and sold AS IS. This auction is for a Vintage Code Courier Model PW4220U Printer for Norand. This is a neat looking older printer that has some connection to Norand, the precursor to Intermec. This unit looks like it might not have been used, but has some marks on case from being around here for awhile getting shuffled from place to place. The date on the outside of the unit says it is from June 1994, with Model number PW4220U. It takes a power supply input of 18VDC @ 500mA. Made in the U.S.A. I don't know how it works or whether it works or not, but if you look on the inside of it, it looks like it hasn't been touched! It did not come with a power supply or labels/paper, whatever it prints, so I couldn't really test it out. I did find a power supply that at least lit up the CHARGING light, but don't know if battery would hold charge or not, since it is 21 years old. It looks like it might, but I can't be for sure. I did pushe the ON/OFF button when I just barely started charging it, and the red BATTERY LOW light did illuminate. Everything looks new inside. Could be a rare collectors item, and if you collect old printers, maybe you don't have one of these. Almost could be considered museum quality except for a few marks on the case. Nice item.
