I think you hook it to a TV and you can test the V bars and H bars as well as crosshatch and dots. We tested it for power and it powered up just fine, not tested with a tv. What you see in the picrures is what you get. Good clean condition with no dings or dents. Cord is in good shape with no drying out or anything.
