This pen desk set was purchased at an estate sale. We could not find a name on the piece. The lady holding the estate sale that day claimed it was a gift brought back from Europe by her husband during the WWII time era. We cannot confirm any of this so take it with a grain of salt. Piece is not without blemishes. You can see on the surface that it has multiple little spots, most of which are small markings in the stone. Majority of the little white spots you see are not chips, almost appears like stone was not buffed out completely. You can see that the lids to the inkwells are broken off at the hinges however. Not sure if this can be repaired or not. While the majority of the white spots are not chips, there are a couple that are. Lid edges have chips where you can see the white spots. Piece measures 9 1/2in. long and is 6 1/4in. wide. Stands 3 1/4in. tall with the inkwell caps sitting on. Please look at the photos closely and ask any questions you may have prior to purchase.
