Hopefully you will like the items that I have found and will come back to visit my store again, looking for the unusual. We try to find items that are perfect for decorating, lighting and/or entertaining, along with some great vintage and antique items for that special collection. ITEM DESCRIPTION: This sale is for a matched Set or Pair (2) Vintage Solid Cast Metal Stands, designed to hold Flags. These heavy stands would work well for any Banner/Flag pole sized to fit the opening, which is approx. 5/8 inch in diameter. These stands have the same finish, almost looks like a porcelain/enamel coating, see picts. There is significant wear, especially on the edges, with rust/wear resulting in a great patina, a metallic brass/bronze-looking finish, see picts. The underside shows closer to what the original finish would have been, see picts. These stands could be used on a floor, or on a table, with any banner/flag or pole that will fit into the base, see picts. This stands have an approx. 6 3/4 inches diameter, approx. 3 inches tall at center. The center hole for a pole that is approx. 5/8 inch diameter. These bases are well marked as made by the, “DETTRA FLAG CO., INC.”, see picts. These stands are in well used, original condition, great patina and picts for you to see and decide how best these could be used, see picts. Very Mid Century Modern and Industrial in style, with a wide variety of uses, limited only by the creativity of the new owner, see picts. THE FLAGS ARE NOT PART OF THIS SALE. There are tears on the USA flag and lots of stains on the white flag. The two cast metal stands, even though heavy, will cost less to ship, as they will fit in a much smaller box. I am selling the stands, but the buyer can also have both flags, FOR THE COST OF SHIPPING SEPARATELY, see picts. The FLAGS will require a separate box, measuring approx. 70x8x8, which is over-sized.
