Vintage - " EICO " Audio Signal Generator - MODEL 377 - Sine and Square Wave - Solid Vintage Unit! Unit DOES Power "ON" and "OFF", as indicated by the "Red Light" on the front of the Unit when the toggle switch is switched back and forth. (Please see pics!). I did not hook this unit up to an oscilloscope or an external speaker. This Unit is from a Pittsburgh High School and was used in Class awhile ago! Definitely "Old School" when the students actually had to know something!! Unit appears to be a factory pre-assembled Unit, as opposed to a Kit that you had to put together yourself. Age is probably 1950's. Eico and Heathkit were the popular brands of test equipment at the time. Eico began around 1945 and continued in operation until about 1977. The cost of this Unit, (when New), was about $32.00. Except for a few surface scratches on the face plate, it is a Solid Unit! The Original 5' (ungrounded) power cord is also in very good shape and firmly attached to the Unit. Dimensions: 11" x 7 3/4" x 7". Weight of Unit is about 12 lbs. A Perfect Addition for a Collector of Vintage Test Equipment or for the Beginner who has just started Collecting! Unit is being sold "AS IS."
