From local equipment liquidation sale.  Not exactly sure what this tool is but it looks like a pretty precision machinists piece by the Everet Machine Products Co.  Please send me an email if you think you recognize it.  It's some kind of specialized dove tailed machinists vise.  Aluminum base is 6" x 8" x 5/16" thick.  Attached center piece has front to back adjustment.  Has a 5/8" diameter cross rod with center mounted grease fitting.  Looks like something would feed into the slot on the top which is 2 1/8" wide.  There are attached copper cables for some kind of electro-magnetic process.  Also includes a section of coated cable with pointed copper tip and fitting on the other end to attach to a battery or electrode.  Includes all of the loose vise attachments you see laying in front and also the original wooden storage case.  Unit weighs just over 20 pounds with the storage case.  Everything in very good to excellent original condition.
