This vintage GE General Electric DC 1/15 hp 125 volt motor has NOT been tested and working condition is unknown. You can spin the shaft by hand. Came from a decommissioned coal fired power plant and was used on a GE rheostat panel (I can provide pictures of it in place if you want). Model # 21782 , Type SD , Frame 234. As with any old electrical item it should be inspected by a professional before attempting to use or test or any power is put to it. This would make a great display piece as it is pretty small , would work great as a : conversation piece, art, steampunk item, made into a lamp, etc. I will picture the motors information along with ballpark measurements .  (See Pictures) Pictures are used as part of our description.
