Vintage General Electric Wattage Meter Tester -Unique- Must See! This old G.E. wattage tester is in really nice shape. From what I was told it was used by a sales rep to show the lower wattage usage of the new General Electric products compared to older or competitor's examples. It makes sense since there is 2 inputs and a switch to show the wattage each is putting out, but I'm not sure that is what it was used for. It does have a nice wood grained case and a hefty handle. It has been tested and does work. I tested a 100 watt bulb in a table lamp which show the results in the one photo. I also tested the same lamp and bulb with a new tester and it showed 99 watts (but the new tester did not break it down to tenths of a watt). The tester weighs almost 18 pounds and measures 13" x 9"x 9". The case does have a few marks on it which may or may not polish out, I did not try to. No dents or other apparent damage. Handle, hinges and latches are also in very good shape. Almost all of our vintage items come from Pittsburgh area estates. We cannot guarantee that the items are from smoke free or pet free homes!
