Vintage GLAS-COL Cat. # 406 HEATING MANTLE APPARATUS 115V 270W You will receive the item pictured as it is pictured ONLY - nothing else included. As you can see it does not have the 2nd power cord, the power cord that plugs into the wall. I have many of these (different models) to test and list and only one cord (again - no cord included) to test with. Although it is in very nice condition it is a vintage mantle. I purchased it over 10 years ago in a bulk purchase from a local university and am just now getting around to listing it. I point this out because I am pretty sure they have probably made recent upgrades. You cannot just plug this mantle in and leave it. Especially without a flask. I am pretty sure it will eventually melt or at least become non-usable. Basically what I am saying is you need to monitor it constantly when being used. If you have prior experience with this item you will know what I am talking about. Make sure to look at the picture of the plug receptacle. Again - please look at all pics. Notice the burn section on the back. Didn't burn through. I plugged it in long enough for it to heat up. It is in known working condition. I was told these are operated by using some sort of variac - makes sense. Purchases made on Fri, Sat & Sunday will be dropped of for shipment on Monday. All others the day after.
