We have for your viewing and bidding pleasure a collectible vintage grain elevator grain testing item. This apparatus was used back in the day at grain elevators to test the grain for dockage such as weed, mustard seed, etc.. On metal labels they both have U.S. STANDARD SIEVE SERIES. The top one has RASCHER & BETZOLD, Inc. CHEMISTS SUPPLIES CHICAGO, ILL.. The bottom one has FISHER SCIENTIFIC COMPANY. On each of the labels they list the specifications of the sieve. The top one has SIEVE NO. 10 and the bottom has NO. 60. Both round metal sieves are made out of brass metal. They are both in their natural aged metal patina. The top one has vertical split cracks as shown in the photos. They measure about 8” across. We are listing the above farm, agricultural and grain related item at a no reserve selling price.
