This a quality Knife made of carbon steel. It's not as pretty as Stainless steel but it holds an edge. It is in good condition. There is the normal discoloration of old carbon steel. There is a small chip in the back part of the handle. (see photo) The haft goes all the way through the handle and the rivets are tight. I try to describe my items thoroughly in words and photos.
