Here we have a Vintage H. B. Rouse, Chicago, Slug Cutter Letterpress Type, + Accessories !!!!  First let me say that I'm not an expert on Printing Presses and the accessories.  So after you read this don't be afraid to contact me with questions. This cast iron and steel press appears to be in very good condition with everything operational and all of the black finish intact (I got this from a Middle School Auction where they said it was in use).  All of the adjustment knobs are working.  The press handle operates smoothly.  In addition to this great press you get the following accessories: One H. B. Rouse 45 Pica Steel composing stick Two H. B. Rouse 21 Pica Steel composing sticks One Hunt Co. Ink roller One H. B. Rouse lead bar slug type cutter & trimmer pliers Two Printer Type Gauges, New York, NY, Two metal Trays and two heavy Cast iron 'formes' loaded with loose metal 'type' and wood blocks used to lock the 'type' in place. An ink spreader and a brush. The whole set weighs in at 27 lbs. before it is packed so it will be shipped by UPS Ground. Shipping all the way to the 'West Coast' is $62.  If you live closer to me on the 'East Coast' it will be less. ***** Also another shipping possibity is to break up the shipment.  Most of the stuff, not the press, could probaby fit in a Large Flat rate for about $17.50.  Then the press would ship for a lot cheaper !!  I would pledge to get you the best rates.   ** Please remember to leave Feedback.  I will gladly reciprocate in return  :-)
