I am selling a hand crank centrifuge manufactured by the Chicago Apparatus Company. I purchased it a school sale. It appears to be old. I believe the tubes are brass. I have not tried to clean it at all. As you can see it is mounted on a wood base I believe to be walnut. It measures about 11" x 6" x 3/4". There is a hole on the side which I think is where it would have been a screw that would have held it to a tabletop. The hole is about 1" x 3/4". The crank works very good and the tubes spin easily. I do not know much anything else about it. I was told it was used as a cream separator on a dairy farm but since I purchased it from the science lab at a high school you be the judge on its use! If you have any questions please ask and I will answer to the best of my ability. Thanks for looking and bid with confidence!
