• This very old Hanson Model 1522 metal utility scale weighs very accurately as compared to a digital scale. • The platform (approximately 5-1/2” square) removes and is unpainted silver toned metal. The body of the scale as well as the face is painted off white, might have started as a bright white and dimmed with age. • The dial is very readable although you can see a small amount of rust at the bottom and on the black dial. • It is labeled on the front “Hanson Model 1522 Utility Scale 32 ounces by 1/8 oz. Not Legal for Trade Northbrook, Illinois Made in U.S.A.”. It shows its age as seen in our photos. • On the top is an adjustable knob that can be turned to adjust accuracy for weight.
