I've been a car buff for many years. Here's a bit of my story: At a used car lot in a small middle Tennessee town the 'car bug' bit and I have been infected with this disease for over forty years. The father of one of my high school friends was a co-owner in the dealership, which allowed me the opportunity to grow up around these classic cars. One of my first drives was an SS Impala, which has a way of hooking you for life! When you were in the graduating class of 1967 you were born to love the muscle cars of that era. Over the last four decades I have bought, sold, restored and collected cars from every vintage. There was a Cadillac LaSalle, some Ford Mustangs, a sweet 1953 MG-TD, several Corvettes, a few pickups, and even a 1926 Studebaker! This diversified experience has included owning approximately 150 cars in the last forty-three years! Within the last fifteen years it has been my pleasure to concentrate more on collectible parts as I have personally witnessed how hard it is to find good quality, original parts for a vintage car. My travels have taken me to swap meets at Carlisle, Hershey, Charlotte, Indianapolis, Chicago, Moultrie, Louisville, etc. where I have built a relationship with other car hobby enthusiasts as a fair and reputable buyer and seller. I currently hold a ten-year certificate from Bloomington Gold for being a vendor at their prestigious event. As a result of these efforts, my warehouse now includes thirty-three 'parts cars' and shelves loaded with engines, drive train parts, body parts, trim pieces, accessories, etc. Most recently I have been specializing in one of the most classic cars from the sixties - the Oldsmobile Cutlass 442. My family has lived in Florence for 25 years where we have established a good reputation within the community.
