 This device powers on as well as types. I bought this second hand, and am no expert in this area, so this will be sold as is. It makes noise for the first minute or so when you power it up, and then stops, I'm unsure if that is usual for this model(perhaps preparing the typing head?) Also it does not seem to space the proper amount for the letters until it has been warmed up for awhile. If you are the expert/collector in this area, here is your chance to get what you are looking for for a good price!
