 Since the early 60's, the IBM Selectric was the Cadillac of typewriters, becoming the workhorse of American business offices for two decades! In the early 80's, this "Correcting Selectric III" was the last model IBM produced, making it the most advanced, and most desired electric typewriter available. Recently the experience of actually "typing" has seen a renaissance due to the personal connection one experiences with the machine. There is nothing that can match the feel of an IBM Selectric typewriter. No more reprinting lists, or printing envelopes 5 times because you just can't get it right with your PC. If you make a mistake, you can still make an easy correction by simply hitting the correction key! You can change Font type, or the size from 10 to 12, by switching out the element ball. This Selectric III is in beautiful condition, hardly showing a bit of the 30+ years it has seen. It was pulled working from an office environment. Two things to note: the sticker identifying the model is missing and the only ribbon I have is the one you see in the pictures. It produces half letters(the upper half).  The instructions are not visible in the picture but they are included.
