Up for auction is a used vintage office IBM Selectric III electric typewriter,with a Courier 10 element. This item powers up and does type with a couple of issues. When pressing the lock key to keep all capital letters, the element just moves back and forth quickly. It also seems to skip every third letter. This might be due to the ribbon, or possibly an adjustment needed. (I have also included a new IBM ribbon). I am certain the typewriter needs to be cleaned and adjusted. This would be great for your office! Because I obtained this typewriter secondhand, I am selling it as is with no warranty. Please look at all of the pictures and ask any questions prior to bidding. The majority of my items come from consignment shops, resale shops or garage sales. I have described the item to the best of my abilities - I look over them closely, but I may miss something. I will disclose anything that I see that is negative in regards to the item and you can make the decision if it is a major flaw or not. If the defect is too bad, I will not even list it. Seller Notes	“This is in good used condition - powers up and types. Only problem noticed is if you want to lock capitals on, it starts moving the ball element fast over and over. This does not happen if you press the shift key. It also skips letters when typing - may be the ribbon or need of adjustment.”
