Being readied for sale is one of three IBM Personal Typewriter models I am listing for delivery before December 25th. This machine is in process of overhaul. Will be ready for shipment this week 12/13/2014. These machines sell quickly and are an absolute joy to use. The fact that they coined the 'Personal' aspect of this tiny, full-blown Correcting Selectric blew me away back then in 1982 and it still does. It uses a late model Selectric III ribbon for even better performance and is light. Perfect for writers and authors. Past clients include same. I am offering the pictured carrying case on a separate listing which allows you to carry this anywhere and type. Too cool... The color is 'Ivory Bisque' with an 'Espresso' base pan. Pictures lack the look this machine has... I WILL ADD MORE PICTURES AS IT PROGRESSES BUT THIS IS A WINNER. No disappointments. Not simply a "cleaned and tested" machine, this is a museum grade restoration. FedEx and professional crating for no worries. (Half the machines I buy here on ebay, arrive damaged and unusable due to inept packing and crating) One year warranty on everything.
