..... VINTAGE IBM TYPEWRITER E.T. MODEL II DETAILS: TESTED AND APPEARS TO BE WORKING PROPERLY, ALL KEYS ARE FUNCTIONING, BUT "/?" KEY TAKES A WHILE TO DEPRESS. COULD USE A GOOD CLEANING. THE INK RIBBON WAS STRETCHED OUT OF PLACE WHEN I GOT IT AND I HAD THE MACHINE REWIND IT BACK INTO PLACE HOWEVER STILL A BIT LOOSE. I DO NOT KNOW MUCH ABOUT THESE MACHINE AND NOT SURE HOW TO GET INSIDE IT TO REMOVE THE RIBBON OR TIGHEN IT. CASING HAS SOME MARKS, BUT I WOULD ASSUME IT IS EXPECTED CONSIDERING THE ITEM IS FROM THE 60s. THE LABEL WITH THE MODEL NUMBER UNDER THE MACHINE IS VERY WORN. FROM WHAT I COULD MAKE OUT THE MODEL NUMBER IS "E.T. MODEL II"; I DID SOME RESEARCH AND DIDN'T COME UP WITH MUCH HOWEVER I BELIEVE IT IS E.T. FOR EXECUTIVE TYPEWRITER AS THE MODEL RESEMBLES THEM VERY MUCH IN STYLE EVENTHOUGH IT DOESN'T ACTUALLY SAY EXECUTIVE ON THE CASING. BEING SOLD AS IS, AS SHOWN AND DESCRIBED, SALE IS FINAL.
