For auction is a Vintage Wire Stripper, Ideal Industries Sycamore, Illinois Stripmaster for 10-22 Solid and Stranded Wire. Tool is marked with Patent 2,523,936 issued Sept. 26, 1950. This used stripper is in good, fully functional condition. I tested it on 12 gauge solid wire and it works well. The wire gripper holds the wire tight and the stripper cuts cleanly and smoothly pulls off the insulation. Tool has evidence of light normal usage but no excessive wear, corrosion or damage. Most of the items I sell are from estate sales, auctions, flea markets, etc. I clean them as necessary to properly evaluate all aspects of the condition and functionality. My photos will always be the actual item for sale and I try to describe and show the condition as thoroughly as possible.
