You're looking at a rare and ORIGINAL antique industrial "rounder" rolling clothing rack manufactured in the early 20th century. This exceptional piece features a cast iron leg base on casters, steel shaft and embossed cast iron arms holding the hoop. The original and bright Japanning (copper oxidize effect) is present on the upper section of the rounder as well as the finial. This item is in wonderful condition and very sturdy. As you can see in pic #12, there is a small break in one of the iron arms which could be easily repaired or left alone as it doesn't affect the strength of the rounder.  Measures approx 66.5" in overall height, 31.5" in diameter and a footprint of approx 31" x 31" Pick up is also available from Brooklyn, NY. **Please check out my other Industrial/ Mid-Century listings.** Happy bidding! rare and original antique industrial "rounder" rolling clothing racks manufactured in the early 20th century by Williams of New York. The pair are being sold as a set rather than breaking them up. This exceptional pair feature a cast iron leg base on casters, steel shaft and cast iron, embossed arms holding the hoop. There are no breaks or repairs to these items and both are completely original.  Each measures approx 68" in height, a diameter of 31" and the base is 29" from end to end. The racks break down for easier transportation.
