This vintage watch fob advertised Ingersoll-Rand jackhammers and jackbits. The very high-relief design (three-dimensional) shows a man working with a jackhammer, with a large bit in the background (with the I-R logo). The reverse side has the name of the company and its New York address plus the words JACKHAMMERS and JACKBITS. The name of the manufacturer (Whitehead & Hoag) is found on the back of the strap. There is no mark for metal content, but this fob is composed of a non-magnetic silver-toned metal. This fob measures approximately 42 x 47 mm (1-5/8 x 1-7/8"). The item is in very good to fine condition, with light wear, toning, and limited soiling, and it is fairly bright. There is a small price sticker on the reverse.
