Up for auction is a vintage La Mode jewelry presentation display case. It is wooden with a felt like top. It is hinged on the back. The lid opens and inside is a felt covered board marked Men's Fine Jewelry by La Mode Gold Filled-Sterling Silver. Under this are 2 sections each filled with felt like pouches. The pouches evidently held jewelry at one point. They measure 2.25 x 6 inches. Have a fold over top. There are 25 total pouches. 20 are plain, 5 are marked La Mode. The entire box measures 14 x 7.75 inches total and is 3.5 inches high. The top part is padded. I believe it was used to store jewelry and when shown to someone it was placed on the padded top for presentation. It looks good and is still very functional. No jewelry included.
